Daniel aka inics here. I built this website with Claude, mostly because I wanted to have a simple nice overview of upcoming games, their delays and specifically wanted to know if they are on gamepass and whenever a game leaves gamepass all in one place.
What is the eng1ne?
eng1ne tracks upcoming game releases, with a focus on the stuff most release calendars don't bother with:
- Delay history with sources — when a release date changes, you can see exactly what it changed from and to, and where that came from, not just today's date with no context.
- Leaving Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus — a dedicated view for what's about to disappear from either service, separate from what's just launching.
- Day-one confirmations — games confirmed for Game Pass or PS Plus on release day get flagged clearly, including ones I've added by hand from announcements the automated tracking wouldn't catch on its own.
- A watchlist to create a free account and track specific games. It'll surface delays and status changes for anything you're following.
How it stays up to date
Release dates and game data are pulled automatically from IGDB every day. Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus changes are checked regularly too, but I review everything by hand before it goes live, nothing gets published without me actually looking at it first.
Why it's free to use
Running this platform costs a little bit of domain and VPS/Webserver fees, so the site is supported by a small amount of advertising and affiliate links which are marked clearly. Clicking through to buy a game through one of those links costs you nothing extra and helps me keep the site running. There's also a Ko-fi link in the footer if you'd rather support it directly, which is of course highly appreciated.
Something wrong?
If you spot a game with the wrong date, a missing source, or anything else that looks off, there's a "Report an issue" link on every game page. I read and check every one of those myself.
